Best customer service. There was no name of the server on the receipt other than R. Thank you for making our evening with an impeccable sense of humour and manners, R!

This is one of the only restaurants with a playground. I don't know any other ones in Zurich. Food was great and kids had lots of fun.

Sent emails, calls over two days, tried to contact via a booking agent. Their phone numbers don't work and they don't respond. Left us stranded in Zurich at midnight after not responding for over 2 days. Got back to us the next morning, trying to act like ot was our fault. Made for an extremely stressful 2 days and injured large costs to find a last minute place to stay.

Placed an order while kids were outside at the playground (which is great). Manager canceled and demanded kids be inside first. Restaurant was nearly empty. Poor customer service all around

Clearly, the majority of poor reviews are attributable to snobby Swiss who have become accustomed to the Swiss version of a pizzeria.

However, when you come to DIECI, you find yourself in a very Italian family-friendly, pleasant atmosphere, with very fresh and tasty food without the pretentiousness often the case in Switzerland.

Additionally, the atmosphere at the zoo restaurant is very welcoming and cozy. We arrived without reservations and were greeted instantly, and seated.

I was very impressed that there was no pushback to our request to split a pizza. Try this in some Swiss version of a pizzeria, and you will be lucky to even get what you asked for and if you do, they will charge you extra for splitting the meal.

Love the food, love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff.

Something I should mention… I have a little test about the hygiene of a restaurant… I believe firmly that if their bathroom is meticulously clean, their kitchen must also be!

Ristorante pizzeria molto bello ed accogliente sia internamente che fuori con il suo bel giardino spazioso, rilassante, separato da un altro giardino vicino ad un parchetto giochi per bimbi. Il personale è molto accogliente, attento e cordiale. Il menù è ricco e quindi c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta con la garanzia di sapere che tutto ciò che verrà servito al tavolo sarà di ottima qualità. Non avrei mai pensato di trovare una pizza così buona e non solo. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

I'll be very blunt: the only good thing about this place was the pizza. We walked in and asked if we could sit outside and at first the waiter just gave us a quick glance and then talked to the chef before then walking to the door and telling us it'll be 2 minutes while he cleans the table. We sat down and it took a good 10 minutes for us to get the menus and another 15 for the guy to take our order. We ordered 1 small salad and 1 pizza to share. From the time we ordered until the time the SALAD arrived, I kid you not, 35 MINUTES passed. How does it take this long to prepare a plain SALAD??? Once we finished 2 waiters passed our table multiple times but neither of them were bothered to take the empty plate. Finally, 10 minutes after we finished the salad, someone took our plate and the pizza arrived shortly after. The pizza was good for what it was. When we wanted to pay - as you can imagine - it again took forever for the guy to bring the bill and for us to pay and get out of there. Overall, good food ruined by HORRIBLY slow service. We were there for over 1 1/2 hours and a good 80% of this time was spent waiting for something. I won't come back and won't recommend this place until they seriously step up their service.
