Die Tische waren alle besetzt, aber die Chefin hat begriffen, dass ich nur kurz gern etwas trinken möchte. Sie liess einen Barhocker im Keller holen und bediente mich an der Bar. Das ist ein top Service! Ganz herzlichen Dank. Ich wusste es sehr zu schätzen und komme sehr gern wieder.
Great food, great service, great place. Amazing pork knuckle, super juicy, tender, and great sauce! The rosti is perfect, yum! Service is the toppppp, super excellent. Those are the reason why this place is super popular, prepare for queue but you won't wait long, no worries. Such a must to go place!
Irgendwie vermochte mich dieser Besuch nicht zu begeistern. Wahrscheinlich hatte es mit der Lage des Tisches gleich am Lokaleingang zu tun. Die Speisen waren gut zubereitet aber nicht überzeugend angerichtet. Mein Kartoffelgratin wurde von der Sauce, die sich im Teller ausbreitete fast ertränkt.

Davvero carini e gentili i camerieri. La birra è ottima così come lo stinco che aveva la speziatura al punto giusto e carne tenerissima.
Il cordon bleau non era particolarmente abbondante come nelle foto e soprattutto aveva poco formaggio al suo interno. Buone le patate di contorno.
Il pollo era un po' asciutto ma buono.
Abbiamo infine preso uno strudel con crema alla vaniglia gustosissimo.

Ist richtig Alt eingerichtet, ist aber auch ein sehr altes Haus. Bisschen eng zum überall rumlaufen, aber sonst recht gut. Das Essen könnte eine grössere Menge vertragen, ist bisschen wenig auf dem Teller. Mann muss schon gut suchen, ist recht versteckt.
Sehr schönes Restaurant mit äusserst freundlichem Service. Absolut empfehlenswert in der Wildsaison!

If you like beer halls with good food and good customer service then this place is the place to go. I went with a group of Japanese business men and the restaurant had a Japanese menu. That was probably the first time I’ve seen that happen. Definitely a recommended place to go and the prices are very reasonably with huge portions. 日本語のメニューもあります。
Place was a good spot for excellent food, with a fascinating atmosphere as it used to be an old armory. Be mindful of it being crowded, you may have to expect a long wait especially during travel season. There was a good selection of food and all the dishes we had tasted excellent and none of us had complaints. The waitress who helped us could speak some English and was very helpful with our order, drinks and food. Definitely a good spot for tourists to eat lunch.
On a blustery weekend without a reservation we were greeted warmly at the door and seated in moments. The friendly atmosphere continued with the service and conversation at a communal table (think German Beer Hall but not bench seating). Even with most tables set for later reservations, no one was turned away at the door.
Our main server, Peter, had a friendly smile that was welcoming and added to the experience.
The food and local draft beer were quite tasty and arrived quickly. Watch out for the spicy sausage - it is delicious but SPICY!

Le repas était très bon et copieux
Dopo aver atteso una decina di minuti, siamo riusciti ad entrare e a prendere un tavolo. Il locale era davvero molto affollato (essendo famoso in città) però era comunque piacevole e caratteristico.
Il cibo era molto buono e gustoso, l'arrosto di maiale era molto tenero, il Rosti era croccante fuori morbido all'Interno. Per quanto riguarda il dolce, abbiamo preso un dolce a base di castagne e gelato. Personalmente non l'ho gradito, era davvero molto molto dolce, ma mi rendo conto sia una questione di gusti personali.
I prezzi sono in linea con quelli svizzeri, per noi italiani sono abbastanza alti.

Wir fühlten uns wohl… die Menu-Auswahl ist übersichtlich, frisch und hat für alle was. Es ist nicht laut und nicht hektisch. Toller Service, aufmerksame Chefin und kreative Küche.
Embrace this tourist trap. We did it twice. Come for the beer hall atmosphere, surprisingly cheerful service and passable “traditional dishes” at reasonable prices for Old Town Zürich. You can even get some veggies to balance out their schnitzels if one order mindfully. Not that we did.

Toujours bien accueilli, excellente cuisine
Mit 25 Gästen feierte meine Tante heute ihren 90. Geburtstag. Wir hatten ein sehr feines Mittagessen serviert bekommen. Sowohl der Hackbraten, als auch das vegetarische Menü mit „Gelblinsen“ wurde von der Küchenmannschaft ausgezeichnet zubereitet und ästhetisch präsentiert.
Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam und liebenswürdig, der uns empfohlene Schaumwein, der Weisswein, der Rotwein, alles in der Schweiz produziert, hat uns sehr geschmeckt.
Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten die Geburtstagsfeier in Ruhe geniessen.
Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Alpenrose ohne Einschränkung empfehlen.

Schönes Restaurant, direkt an der Tramhaltestelle. Das Essen ist sehr fein. Gute Auswahl an Tagesmenüs, ohne lange Wartezeiten. Das Personal hat eine gute Übersicht und ist freundlich und kompetent. Wenn der Raum voll ist, dann wird es laut. Kann man empfehlen.
Im Veltinerkeller ist alles perfekt, (Sterne)-Küche vom feinsten und extrem professioneller Service. Das Ambiente finde ich persönlich sehr schön aber vielleicht ist es etwas altmodisch. Trotzdem sollte man als Gourmet hier unbedingt einkehren. Fast vergessen: Die Weinkarte ist spitze und der Sommelier hat richtig Ahnung. Preis/Leistung ist gut, billig ist es nicht, aber günstig Verhältnis zur herausragenden Qualität.
Traditionelles Restaurant in der Altstadt auf der linken Seite der Limmat. Gemütliche, rustikale Gaststube, grosszügige, komfortable 2er/4er Tische. Ein herzliches und exzellent eingespieltes Service Team bediente uns und war sehr aufmerksam. Die Essen sind von hervorragender Qualität, die Fleischportionen gross, die Beilagen werden aus Pfännchen serviert. Wir haben uns für das Lammcarré im Kräutermantel mit Kartoffelgratin und Bohnen mit Speckmantel entschieden. Dazu hat der Rotwein Gran Cruor 2014 aus dem Priorat ausgezeichnet gemundet. Zum Dessert gebrannte Creme und Orangenschnitze mariniert im Grand Marnier mit einer Kugel Vanilleeis waren ein guter Abschluss.
Inizialmente sembrava non ci fosse troppo interesse a farci sedere ma una volta accomodati abbiamo trovato un'accoglienza cordiale in un bell'ambiente. Il cibo molto gustoso. Noi abbiamo provato l'arrosto e il piatto vegetariano.

Sono stato qui per una cena aziendale. Sala bella ed accogliente, cibo molto curato così come il servizio. Peccato abbiano finito il pane durante la cena.
Cibo buono locale molto carino. Personale molto cortese. Lo consiglio anche per i prezzi.
Seit x Jahren nicht mehr dort gewesen. Keine Enttäuschung. Lunch Menue tip top und Sevice ebenfalls. Ich Persönlich finde es toll, dass es noch so Lokale gibt.

Ein Kleinod der alten Schule, höchste Servicequalität, fachlich einfach nur top, kein schnick schnack, hier zählt das wesentliche was leider in den meisten Restaurants untergegangen ist, der Gast, das Genusserlebnis, die Küche leistet eine grandiose Arbeit, ein Hochgenuss für den Gaumen, ein ganz ganz großes Dankeschön

Sympa, ils se donnent beaucoup de peine. Viande de la ferme d'excellente qualité à prix tout à fait correct. Les röschtis valent à eux seuls le détour.

Tipico ristorante svizzero in una posizione molto centrale a Zurigo. Il menu offre molti piatti tradizionali, spesso a base di carne e patate, oltre a un buon assortimento di vini e birre. I piatti sono buoni e il servizio è abbastanza veloce. Il punto forte del locale sono i particolari interni e atmosfera.
Luogo da visitare. Un viadotto ferroviario che ospita negozi e bar, una bella alternativa agli anonimi centri commerciali
Toller Service, spitze Essen, liebevoll gestaltetes Interior - wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Mein Tipp: Ravioli und ganze Berner Forelle aus dem Ofen mit Kräuter-Öl

Locale molto bello sia fuori che dentro, location fantastica sotto l'arcata del vecchio ponte ferroviario in pietra e davanti ad un parco molto frequentato.
Mai fatto un pasto completo ma per colazione o aperitivo davvero consigliato. E i prezzi non sono "normalmente esagerati" come in tanti altri posti in città.
