Biggest mosque in Turkey, situated in a beautiful location high up giving lovely views of Istanbul. There is a museum within the complex and it is definitely worth a visit.
This is a very beautiful and calm place. It's also a good place to meditate. It's not crowded as compared to other places. It has a magnificent view of Istanbul and the bosphorus bridge. Here, you can also walk up to see the tallest flag in Istanbul. There's also a very nice restroom for ablution. If you really want to enjoy the view, I'll suggest you go at night.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING mosque alhamdullilah is all I can say. This mosque, being fairly modern, is quite a hidden gem. Although you can see its sheer size from the Bosphorous, many people focus on the main touristic sites and forget this. The interior is beautiful, the exterior is amazing and the view from the courtyard at sunset is beyond what you can imagine. It’s a must visit when in Istanbul!

A must visit in Istanbul. Took the ferry to the Asian side and then a taxi to get to the mosque. Amazing views both inside and outside of the building. There is also a museum worth checking out. Can easily spend half the day exploring this place.

The mosque has a beautiful architecture and design. Its yard is very wide, has an amazing view of the city, and has a nice breeze because it’s on top of a hill. The inside is so clean, well maintained, has a very nice air flow because of its many windows. The inside of the mosque has 3 floors, with elevators available. Most importantly, the women’s praying area is good in space and very comfortable, thanks to its female architects :) . There is an art gallery, an islamic museum, and a library all of which are affiliated to the mosque. We went on a weekday, it was not crowded, I haven’t visited it in any religious holiday so I cannot say about its crowds then. Getting there is not hard, there’s a bus station directly across from it, you can reach Üsküdar taking one bus only.
