Hanmo Li

Dinner at @ilbacaromelbourne from a couple of months back: Italian fine dining with really delicious food and lovely service! A bit on the pricey side (e.g. 34$ entrees) but the quality is pretty top notch.

Entrees:
- Ricotta & Pecorino Zucchini Flowers, cos, mascarpone, miso, pumpkin seed, egg yolk: like an explosion of flavour in your mouth!
- Calamari lightly battered and fried - entree size - split into 3 portions: this was some of the most tender calamari I've ever had! So good 😍😍😍😍.

Primi / pasta / risotto:
- Spaghettini, Moreton Bay bugs, "olio visadi", garlic, chilli, rocket - also portioned into 3 separate plates! Such nice service 😊😊. Flavours were fantastic!
- Risotto, spanner crab, corn, lime: amazing!

Secondi:
- Suckling Pig, fennel, black pudding, yoghurt gelato: couldn't pass up suckling pig! Perfect crackling 🤩😋.
- Fish of the day - Swordfish fish fillet with jalapeno: not spicy. Super yummy!

Sides:
- Potatoes, sun-dried tomato, oregano
- Roasted cauliflower, ricotta salata, balsamic

Dessert:
Rhubarb, fermented honey crumble, apple sorbet, rose meringue, shiso: what an interesting mix of flavours! Love the combination of tart and sweet flavours.

Dinner at @britishindiasa - almost next door to us! Modern Indian food and not quite traditional, but the food is good ☺️☺️☺️. Really friendly service too!

Broken samosa: apparently one of their most popular dishes. Very interesting presentation, and tasted great! I loved puffed rice was delicious 🤤😍.

Royal chilli squid: again, not exactly a traditional Indian dish, but it tasted great 😜😜.

Curry dishes and naan: nicely done overall! And the naans were delicious 🤤🤤.
