I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to get some gelato after dinner. I opted for one of their seasonal gelatos, the pumpkin caramel pie. It was delicious! It was between that flavour and the ricotta rosemary lemon. I did try both flavours before purchasing. Both were good, but I didn’t really taste a lot of lemon in that one flavour. I’m definitely going to return to try the other flavours.
Such a great spot to spend the day! My friend and I had a great time here. Unfortunately there was a down pour a few days prior, it made some of the trails unbearably muddy and we were advised not to take certain routes. They also offer food, which was actually very good and reasonably priced. You can also bring your own food in. There’s tons of picnic tables and benches to sit down. Parking is free and does get pretty full. We were there before noon, so we missed the crowd. But overall spent about 3.5 hours here. We initially came to see the scenic caves, but ended up really enjoying the suspension bridge. Staff here are also awesome, very friendly and accommodating. The park is very clean with some people who leave litter behind on the floor, which is not very nice. They also have washrooms on the grounds, which are also very clean. They also offer other attractions, mini putting is only an extra $6. Really nice to see that you can spend the day out with the family and not break the bank. I will definitely return here.
Update: went in today for a late lunch with my mom. We wanted to try the kibbeh, but they said they didn’t have any. So we ordered the tabouli, falafel and hummus.
First off, we had to ask for bread to be served with the hummus. How does pita bread not come with hummus? What are we supposed to eat it with. The hummus was very liquified, it just tasted like tahini. Not how we expected it to be. The falafel was decent, just felt it was missing certain spices. The tabouli was okay, probably wouldn’t order it again.
The shawarma was pretty good, wish I took a photo of it because the portion of fries, pickles and turnips was way less. We also didn’t get that huge portion of garlic sauce on the side. Wish things were a little more consistent.
Probably one of the better shawarma places I’ve been to in Mississauga. Went there for an early dinner during the weekend, the restaurant itself was empty with a couple people coming in for take out. Both beef and chicken shawarma was delicious. Nice helping of pickles and turnips. The garlic sauce on the side is also very good! Large portion. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

The food was just okay, not that memorable. The calamari was just sitting in oil and got soggy. The chicken itself was pretty tender and well seasoned. There didn’t seem to be any seating inside the restaurant, just looked like they had their covered patio opened. It was pretty chilly in there, but we needed to eat at the restaurant as we were headed to a concert at Scotiabank arena. Wish they added more olives to their salad, one isn’t enough.
Really cute place, nicely decorated. It is mainly a take out spot. There’s one table with two chairs. The ice cream was good, dairy free which is great. Wish there was more oreo chunks in my “spundae”. Wish there was also different sizes to pick from as I couldn’t finish it. I would have preferred a smaller size.
