I booked the Skyline Dinner Cruise this past Friday 9/22. I had never done this cruise before and reading the mixed reviews, I was a little hesitant about doing so. I wanted to be sure to share my experience. We booked for my boyfriend’s birthday. We had such an amazing time. The staff was SO friendly. Our server, Breanna was an absolute delight and truly went out of her way to take care of us. We booked the buffet and not the sit down dinner and I’m happy we did; we didn’t feel chained to the table and didn’t miss any of the sights. The food was better than I expected. My favorite were the rib tips and mashed potatoes, so good! Most of the trip was very low key but the last 45 minutes or so, they start playing dance music and we got up and had a really great time. Even the staff was dancing and singing along with us. SO MUCH FUN! My only complaint is that the boarding process was completely chaotic. The app told us to board at Stop 12, the stops are only numbered 1-9. There were no lines set up, or signs directing us where to go. There wasn’t anyone on the dock to ask questions to. There were 2 cruises that were supposed to board at the same time and everyone was wandering around aimlessly until some employees finally showed up at 7 (the time we were supposed to leave) and started directing us where to go. The cruise left a half hour late. That’s the reason I’m only giving 4 stars as opposed to 5. That being said, I had an overall great experience and absolutely would not hesitate to book this cruise again. Thank you to Breanna and the rest of the staff.
