A lovely little monument park to the father of the labor movement. Clean with benches to sit. It is right on Mass Ave. so expect the usual motorcycle or cars with modified exhaust to make their usual statement.
Lovely little park. Dogwoods, cottonwoods, mountain laurel, tall pines. Nice quiet place to sit and rest and cool down in the shade if you're biking along the Virginia side of the Potomac. With the advent of the Humpback Bridge it has easy access under the Washington Memorial Parkway.
