Very informative site. Great for anyone who enjoys New York and American history. We were allowed a self tour of 2nd floor due to the heat advisory. Worth the to see.
Really great stop with a top-notch ranger led tour of the home. A must see if you are in the area.
Interesting place, but there is limited areas where rooms with period furniture are. Tour is only to second floor and there is only a self guided tour which is a few plastic pages describing each room. At best, you will spend about 20 minutes before you are escorted out. Young Ranger was very unsure of his Hamiltonian history. Two films on 1st floor were somewhat interesting. I expected more

Da qui c'e' una vista meravigliosa dell'hudson
Peccato che non sia molto pubblicizzato nelle guide, ma una passeggiata ad Harlem con il mausoleo di Grant, le chiese neogotiche (tra cui l'immensa e non finita Saint John the Divine) e la Columbia University (una delle esclusive della Ivy League), merita il tempo dedicato. Si tratta di una NYC meno cosmopolita e più "orgogliosamente" americana
