We have stayed in this hotel twice, both times in summer, one week in summer 2022, another week in summer 2023. Our experience in 2022 was absolutely fantastic and we were very excited to return. Our return visit however was a bit lacking, we were disappointed and felt a bit flat at the end of it all.
The food. Superb, outstanding, incredible in 2022, mediocre at best in 2023. A huge drop in standards. This year it felt like a large work canteen in terms of food offering. An awful lot of pizza, chips, burgers. There is pasta bake provided daily it was was an overcooked, bland and stodgy every single day. The desserts all look pretty/tempting but are all in fact tasteless. The ice cream is good. So the food felt very functional but it was not enjoyable.
The kids club. My child does not speak French and we were reassured they would not have any problems as the staff spoke English. However it turns out this was not the case. My daughter went to the morning sessions and came back at lunch looking a little sad and deflated every day. She is a very sociable, generally happy child but was just lonely in the kids club and didn’t ever want to give the afternoon session a go. It made us sad to see all the French kids enjoy and join in the evening kids’ shows, and I could see my daughter looking longingly at all the fun, but she was left out because no effort was made to communicate with her in English. One of the morning sessions involved a hike with story telling in the forest, the staff gave the story in French but did not translate it to English. She accepted this and just went along with it, as kids do, but I could tell she felt excluded and a little lonely.
The pool situation is a little cramped, particularly in bad weather. The indoor pool whilst modern etc is just far too small for the size of the hotel. It’s like human soup when weather is bad!
Adult activities are excellent - hiking, biking etc all provided to very high standard and this was the highlight of our holiday. Staff who run the activity programme were superb particularly the guys who run the road biking programme - they were amazing and had excellent English.

We had a lovely family holiday in Club Med Arcs Panorama. All the staff were polite and courteous. A huge thank to Sandro and his family team as they worked so hard constantly. They really didn’t stop!!
Our room had been great, it was roomy and spacious. So much nicer in comparison to some tiny hotel rooms we’ve stayed in.
