This was a good experience, the place is beautiful and it has a lot of things about the space that are very interesting. The only problem is that it's too difficult to get the tickets. Daily tickets open up in the website at 8:30 am, but even if you are ready at the time, you don't get tickets until 3 pm. The temperature outside in summer was too high, and the people were waiting under the sun in a line until they could get inside. So I recommend getting exactly on time.
So, so cool. Timed entry tickets are required since this is so popular, we were lucky to be able to get ours online while at the door. There is a lot under construction and we look forward to coming back when the new areas are open. This was definitely the most packed museum we went to while in DC.
This is a must for family and kids to visit. This museum is an educational museum where you will like a lot about the history of airplane and space. The time I went was during weekdays and there are some section that are under construction.

It was one of the best experiences I have ever had, it was very fun and it was ginormous, I would say the best part is the flight motion simulators since they were very fun but unfortunately they are very expensive to buy tickets for. The gift shop is also very big and everything in there is pretty high quality and is very well made. Even the food there is not bad since there is a shake shack. The only annoying thing was there was barely any parking when I went there.
Bellissimo museo, molto grande è c'è veramente tanto da vedere!! non abbiamo fatto nessua coda nonostante ci sia molta gente è l'entrata sia gratis. Ci sono tutti i confort necessari e la sicurezza.
Di questo brutto posto ricorderò solo

-il freddo, a metà agosto
-le esposizioni per il popolino ignorante
-le urla dei bambini
-il disinteresse generale del popolino che è lì solo perché è gratis.
Mi pento di aver donato 20$.

Museo ad accesso gratuito di scienze Naturali
Siamo partiti quasi appositamente, in quanto appassionati, da NY per visitare questo museo. Lo abbiamo prenotato molto prima, visitato il sito e ricevuto email informative varie. In tutto questo tempo non è stato comunicato, o almeno non si evince facilmente, che praticamente più della metà del museo è chiusa per lavori di ristrutturazione. Non abbiamo visto praticamente nulla di quello che ci interessava. Grande delusione.
Bel posto, sconsiglio il ristorante, caro e lento, mangiate al food court. Considerate una giornata intera per visitarlo, è enorme

Il museo è ricco di animali e oggetti da vedere con molte attività interattive da fare. Il luogo è perfetto sia per adulti che per famiglie con bambini, sicuramente i bambini apprezzeranno tutti gli animali, scheletri e attività da vedere e fate. Il ristorante offre cibo tipico americano.
Solo questo museo, tra l’altro gratuito come tanti altri qui a Washington, vale il viaggio in questa città. È davvero stupendo, un peccato non aver avuto il tempo di vederlo con calma. Ci tornerò!
Una colossale fregatura. Aspettavo da una vita di andarci, passo l'atlantico per farlo e mi trovo i tre quarti del museo chiusi, senza nessun avviso. Informatevi bene prima di andarci.
Bel museo ancora in parziale ristrutturazione
Il più famoso dei musei Smithsonian, ha la collezione più grande al mondo di aerei e veicoli spaziali... d vedere assolutamente!
Posto bellissimo che richiede molto tempo per visitarlo tutto. Mettete in programma di mangiare al ristorante interno a 1/2 giornata di visita. Attenzione a non andare tra Natale e Capodanno che strapieno. Non dimenticate di visitare il museo delle gemme con relativo shop dove potete comprare oggetti bellissimi che vi posso spedire loro a casa
Grandissimo museo tutto dedicato allo spazio, se vi piace il tema, non potete perderlo. Vari modelli di sonde e razzi dismessi da poter ammirare, si passa dalla nascita del primo aereo ai giorni nostri. Molto interessante anche se avete bambini con voi.
Bellissimo museo a Washington DC. Peccato per i numerosi controlli all'ingresso e per il fatto che alcune zone erano chiuse nel periodo in cui l'ho visitato. Vi consiglio, se potete, di visitarlo il venerdì piuttosto che di sabato o domenica dato la mole di persone ed il tempo che tocca aspettare per l'ingresso.
(all’angolo tra 6th St e Independence Ave SW) L’Air & Space Museum è il museo più popolare della Smithsonian Institution. La gente si accalca per vedere il velivolo dei fratelli Wright, il Bell X-1 di Chuck Yeager, lo Spirit of St Louis di Charles Lindbergh e il modulo lunare Apollo 11. All’interno del museo sono presenti un cinema IMAX, un planetario e un simulatore di volo.
Pensare che è tutto gratuito. Consigliatissimo per i bambini è davvero ben fatto. Peccato sia tutto in inglese. Ma i video trasmessi e le didascalia, nonchè i sitemi multimediali, sono molto intuibili anche da chi mastica poco l'inglese.

Visitato principalmente perché casa del film “Una Notte al Museo”. Per vastità e qualità delle cose esposte non ha pari. Gli animali e i loro ambienti ricreati sono fenomenali, ne vale davvero la pena!
