11月天気も曇りから霧雨といった状況下だった。30年前は、バンクーバーに来るたびにここを一周走っていた。その記憶をなぞるように、今回は逆からのWalkingだ。多分ここからの景色は変わっていない。また元気なうちに歩きたい。さあまだハッピーアワーに間に合う、手先は少々冷たくなったが、もう少しGearを上げて次の時間に移行すべく足早になった。
Located directly underneath the Lions Gate Bridge, I made the mistake of taking the trail down the hill from the Prospect Point Cafe. This would have been so much easier to access with my e-bike along the seawall. So do that!
A lighthouse on this point dates back to 1888 though it was replaced with this existing structure in 1948. It is a square cement tower with a focal plane of 38 feet above the water.
The interior of the structure is not open to the public but you can walk up to it and just about underneath. There is a night view of the Burrard Inlet and look up at the bridge above.

Bello ma non andate oltre, dopo Gastown c e una zona abbastanza malandata e mal frequentata
Orologio nella via "vecchia" di Vancuver. Interessante in quanto pare funzionare a vapore..
Simpatico orologio simbolo di Vancouver. Molto viva la zona intorno. Caratteristico attendere il fischio che arrivo ogni quarto d'ora.

スタンレーパークをレンタサイクルで一周した。天気も悪くなく遠くの雪山も見えた。懐かしい想い出やな。

Imprescindibile una passeggiata nel centro città di Vancouver dalla visita dello Steam Clock. Geniale, curioso, elegante, costituito da meccanismi veramente complessi.
